Red River is a popular ski resort in New Mexico, often referred to as the ski town of the west. Located at 10,354 feet elevation and with a 1,601 foot vertical drop, it is a beautiful ski resort with plenty of trails to suit everybody, whatever their level of experience might be, and with enough trails for everyone to feel they have their fair share of the them too, so that you don't feel you are missing out because of your skiing expertise. When you ski travel to Red River, you can have lessons, either private or group, at the ski school, but even beginners will be assured that they will get to the slopes without any time wasted.
